September School Holidays

September School Holidays – plenty of activities for kids

An exciting addition to Byron Holiday Park is that we’ll now be running activities for the kids to participate in during the school holidays.  And they start these September holidays!

So much fun – making grass head people and stain glass windows!

These range from craft activities such as sand art, plaster painting, shrink art, making grass head people, creating stain glass windows and so much more.

The Park has so much open space – it’s perfect for sporting activities and nature walks. We can use the beach volleyball area we already have set up year round.

Family movies under the stars

We’ll even look at holding in-house movie nights under the stars.  Imagine sitting outside, under the night’s sky, watching a movie with the kids before bed.

Or even better, the kids sit and watch the movie and the parents can enjoy some quiet time back at the site or cabin?

As my husband likes to say, happy kids, happy wife, happy wife, happy life!  I’m sure all parents can relate!

Fun for kids, relaxation and pampering for you

Speaking of happy wives/husbands…the kids don’t get to have all the fun while you’re away on holiday! You can enjoy what’s on offer for adults too.

Our Park has Alchemy, an onsite Wellness Centre, so you can have a massage and relax while the kids play.

Enjoy your morning barista-made latte!

Also, give yourself break from the kitchen and cut down on cooking duties by visiting our onsite café Spoke for delicious breakfast and lunch meals and a barista made latte!

We want to know what activities you’d love

Keep an eye out on our Facebook page as we’ll be posting various polls to ask for your option. We’d love some feedback as to what activities you and your kids would like to see these holidays.

Plenty to do outside of the Park – peddle it!

Outside of our planned school holiday activities, there’s plenty of options at our Park for our families to enjoy.  We have onsite bike hire which includes bikes of all sizes.  You can hire a tandem bike which I’m sure could be a great source of entertainment!

Plus, for little tots not ready for their own set of wheels, we have a bike trailer you can pop them in and then the whole family can head into town together.  It only takes 20 mins on the nice flat track and then that’s exercise and enjoyment all done in one hit!

Direct beach access

The park has direct access to Tallows Beach which is about a 7 minute walk (I timed it the other day!) and once you get there you’ll see why people love this coast line.

The walk to the beach in its self is beautiful, along a lovely bush track where you’ll pass native flora and fauna along the tea tree lake.  It is far less crowded than the beaches in town and if you’re bringing along your furry friend, they’ll love the chance to run around, leash-free!

Think about it… Do you need a break with the family?

If your answer is yes then please feel free to give us a call.  You don’t have to make it a long stay but once you’re here you’ll wish you had booked for longer!
