Byron Bay Bluesfest 2018
The internationally renowned ‘Blues Fest’ kicks off in Byron Bay over the Easter Long Weekend with more than 200 performances across seven stages, over 5 x 12 hour days!
Since its modest beginnings 1990 with a crowd of 6000, event and now attracts an audience of other 100,000 people each year. The event is held at the scenic Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, 11 kilometers North of Byron Bay, NSW, and is regarded as being the foremost destination festival in Australia and renowned for being a safe, fun, family-friendly festival and the event also has a daily kids program to keep them entertained during the festival.
The Byron Bay Bluesfest 2018 hosts a variety of musicians from International Stars to local bands. Unlike the same suggests the event showcases a variety of musical style from reggae to country, gospel and rock. Over the years festival goers have been entertained by the likes of Bob Dylan, John Mayer, BB King, Jack Johnson, Angus & Julia Stone, David Gray, Trombone Shorty, Paul Simon, Ben Harper, Luka Bloom, Bonnie Raitt, Crowded House and the list goes on. The festival is set to sellout with the Byron bay bluesfest 2018 lineup showcasing music from around the world with superstar acts such as Seal, Lionel Ritchie, Lauryn Hill, Sheryl Crow, along with Billy Bragg, Patti Smith, Santana and the Doobie Brothers will join local favorites such as John Butler Trio, Neil Finn, Tash Sultana and many more for an unforgettable experience. You can drive and park at the event or Festival Shuttle Buses will be operating to and from Byron Bay and surrounding areas via Blanch’s Bus company. You can view timetable HERE.
